The presets are divided into Generic and Custom sections. To save your time, there are generic presets you can use to apply to the image. The Enhancements section, which is collapsed by default, provides more options like increasing or reducing the level of softness, sharpness, and brightness to improve the overall look of the smoothing result. The default settings of the smoothing are good enough to produce a natural result which you can fine tune by adjusting the treshold and the smoothing percentage. When you run the plugin, the skin smoothing works automatically. Creating your own mask is also possible with the help of the eye dropper tool for skin tone selection. Imagenomic Portraiture works by creating an auto mask to be able to smooth the skin while preserving details on other areas such as hair, eyes, and lips. In this view mode, the original image can be viewed by clicking on the preview. The plugin can also display the preview only. The view can be zoomed out to show more details. Imagenomic Portraiture displays the original photo and the output side by side in a before and after comparison layout, and you can switch between the portrait and landscape orientation. Each section contains a number of sliders that you can drag back and forth to specify a value. The controls on the left side of the plugin are divided into three sections.
